I’ve been riding motorcycles for over 35 years, and off-road riding has always been my passion. I started out riding off-road, and I’m still doing it today. Not motocross, but enduro riding, including organized rides with Grensland Enduro and Ad Ketelaars. I’ve also spent several years competing in international rallies, including the Breslau Rally.
Over the years, I’ve owned, modified, and built quite a few motorcycles, often turning them into rally bikes. It’s all part of my ongoing search for the ultimate dual-sport motorcycle. Along the way, I’ve also gained plenty of experience traveling light and exploring on two wheels with as little luggage as possible.
I share my experiences, builds, and ideas on this website simply because I enjoy doing it. It’s great to know that people from all over the world can read about my adventures, pick up a few tips, or find inspiration for their own projects and travels.
Motorcycling is becoming a bit of a family affair, too. My youngest son recently got his first motorcycle license, managing to pass after just six riding lessons — almost a record by Dutch standards! You’ll find his bikes, adventures, and experiences on this website as well.
